Practically all water themed activities with kids are great places to see what disease or fungus you can catch. Seen a kid shit on the ground at a splash pad and they just mopped it up and turned the water back on.

Also those fountains on the ground are essentially bidets because most kids don’t wipe their ass well.

Sure but they also chlorinate the absolute crap out of them so while it’s gross you’re unlikely to actually catch something. The chlorine just destroys your hair and clothing and skin.

Mostly, cryptosporidium doesn’t give a fuck and it’ll come out of a kids ass.

The parasite needs to be in heavily chlorinated water for awhile to break through it’s thick membrane.

Since the water is flying around at splash pads it’s usually going to survive a lot longer than in a pool and even in a regular pool chlorine is not full proof.
