At least for a few months, if we fail to turn the moment into a movement and they do it anyway.

But for today, fewer patients will be billed life ruining sums after supposedly approved life saving surgery they were entitled to. Nothing can take that away from him. He made a difference.

    It’s always interesting to watch moments like this in history. There are thousands and thousands of them. Small bits of violence, happening at random, but really the same thing over and over. Most of the populace just ignoring it. Until one particular case, no different than any of the others, catches the attention of the masses. And suddenly the world changes in drastic, sometimes horrible, ways over night.

    You know, a lot of claims that Blue Cross suddenly got up, arranged a board meeting, drew up papers, and signed off on them in a matter of hours are flying around, but that seems a little unbelievable to me.

    The governor was on the news railing on them a little while before the policy reversal, and protests were going on for long before that, so I kind of doubt the reversal had anything to do with Brian and Luigi.
