  • Terry in the show probably has some body dysmorphia/eating disorders. He’s been shown to have difficulty controlling his food intake with the nibs, the weird dieting with Gina and Amy and he’s also used the gym to avoid his problems. Plus he had some PTSD in the early seasons (I think from shooting an innocent person? I don’t remember exactly why) which is why he wasn’t in the field for the first few seasons. Also I think technically his rank is lieutenant so I’m not sure he’s technically a detective

  • This specific instance was when he was flying to Namek right after beating Vegeta for the first time at the beginning of DBZ. Where he needed to go outside the ship while it was in transit. He’d never been to space and had no reason to think he’d be fine without a suit

By the beginning of Dragon Ball Super he does go into space to fight Beerus, but he’s not there for long. It seems he can go in space for a bit, but needs to come back to breathe. This also tracks because he’s had to learn to control his breathing in multiple different ways

  • I agree that he didn’t have a plan for 2 primary reasons: Saiyans as a whole are very bad at planning beyond the problem in front of them, and that Toriyama also planned very little of Dragon Ball ahead of time

In universe the explanation I’d give is that while Namek is bigger than Earth it still took Frieza “five minutes” for his blast to actually destroy Namek. Vegeta hadn’t even gone Super Saiyan yet. Even if his blast did connect and destroy the planet (unlikely) he would have had plenty of time to get to a space ship and fuck off

The Yautja have no concept of “loved ones”. It is specifically brought up that Dek’s older brother is a failure because he is protecting his weaker brother instead of culling him for the strength of the clan. You’re using human emotional logic to justify your opinions instead of following Predator logic. The vast majority of Yautja would be champing at the bit to fight to prove they can beat the warlord. I still contend these humans have been given an incredible honor in Yautja society

No honor? The Yatuja believe that the only honor that matters is in your hunting prowess, literally every Yatuja has never lost a fight because they always fight to the death. They absolutely think it’s an honor to be brought to Yautja Prime to fight against their leader, which is why they do that instead of just killing the people who beat a Predator. That’s a huge sign of respect from them

  • Prairie Dogs are more likely in America:

The bacteria that cause plague, Y. pestis, maintain their existence in a cycle involving rodents and their fleas. Plague occurs in rural and semi-rural areas of the western United States, primarily in semi-arid upland forests and grasslands where many types of rodent species can be involved. Many types of animals, such as rock squirrels, wood rats, ground squirrels, prairie dogs, chipmunks, mice, voles, and rabbits can be affected by plague.
