I had a manager a long time ago that only knew arrow keys, insert mode, esc, delete char. And save. I can’t remember which save command he used but it wasn’t “:wq!”

I think the password is a timing thing. When I type in the same password that failed but slower, it works. I suspect I’m probably brushing another key when fast typing.

Easy enough to implement at paid charge stations. Both homes I’ve had chargers installed at are on programs where the utility knows exactly how much energy my EV charger uses.
