You and I both. I have nostalgia from years of using it in grad school for R. I found Kate is pretty close, but NPP runs fine in Bottles.

Considering this is a meme, I’m not sure which non-real numbers you’re referring to. Here are some real numbers about why you should let a doctor jam a camera up your ass.
It the United States, the lifetime frequency of colon cancer is 1 in 25 (4%) for men and 1 in 26 (3.8%) in women[1](https://www.cancer.org/cancer/types/colon-rectal-cancer/about/key-statistics.html). Frequencies are similar for most Western European countries. It’s one of the most common cancers, being third in the US and second in western Europe as an aggregate [1](https://www.cancer.org/cancer/types/colon-rectal-cancer/about/key-statistics.html), [2](https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11905646/) In the US, colon cancer frequency is increasing amongst those under 55 by 3% each year and is the leading cause of cancer-related death in that group[3](https://www.cancerresearch.org/blog/colorectal-cancer-awareness-month).
It’s highly preventable. The majority of colon cancers begin as slow-growing polyps which are easily detected and removed. Doctors snip them off while in there. Easy as that.
If you do skip screening and get colon cancer, it’s fucking terrible to deal with, as are all cancers of the GI tract. If gone undetected, it will have slowly proliferated throughout your colon. You’ll experience bouts of severe cramping, constipation, and painful, uncontrollable, bloody diarrhea that prompt you to see a doctor. The affected length of colon will then be surgically removed. If you’re lucky, they’ll reattach what’s left to your anus. If not, they’ll route it out through a hole in your abdomen, called a stoma. Either way, you now have diarrhea for life, possibly in a bag you have to tape to your stomach and periodically empty, and you’ll have to shit much more frequently since your body can no longer effectively remove the water from your feces.
You’ll likely need chemotherapy, which will make you sick and miserable throughout its course as it often severely affects the gastrointestinal system. You’ll spend a lot of time in the bathroom, vomiting and emptying the even more rapidly filling shit bag on your stomach. At that point, you’d give anything to go back in time and let a doctor probe your asshole. If you’re lucky, you go into remission but will require increased screening for the rest of your life in case it returns. If you’re unlucky, you’ll die painfully, shitting and vomiting on your way to the grave.

I did a quick scan of your comment history and you seem like a nice, reasonable person. I’m baffled.

Can confirm. I’ve spent several hours the last few weeks teaching a friend’s 24 year old daughter basic computer literacy on a W11 system. None of her friend group could help because they know just as little. When we started, she didn’t know how to shut down or reset the system.
I worked at three call centers over two years. It was the longest two years of my life and it took years to recover. I was once written up for “lying to a customer” because I confirmed something I knew personally to be true but my employer hadn’t included in our scripts. It’s like being in a cult.

Dude, it’s the opposite problem. Where do you think the sunlight goes when it hits a solar panel? It sucks it all up! If we set up too many solar panels, they’re going to use up all the sunshine and cool the globe until we have another ice age. Big brother petroleum has been saving us!
Either enjoy with three friends or use it solo and go four times as long between cleanings.

It’s “full self driving (supervised)” last I checked.
Single cab trucks prioritize cargo space over seating space, generally having only a single bench seat that fits 2 adults and a child, or three often uncomfortable adults. This truck prioritizes cargo space to a much greater degree, having only a single seat, so it’s aggressively “single cab”.

I haven’t had a single quest. What if we’re just his NPCs?

I still remember the rage I felt when I first realized that the United States justice system is fundamentally adversarial. Prosecuting attorneys don’t want to find the truth of the matter. The build the strongest case possible and it’s on the defendant to prove they’re wrong. Attorneys are supposed to take into account all available evidence, but have no obligation to seek additional information that could exonerate the defendant, even if it’s clear such information exists.
It’s absolutely fucked.

There is at least one TV application that doesn’t support local streaming without first logging into Plex’s servers. I have an LG tv and it’ll hang at the loading screen, then error out if I don’t have Internet connectivity. I love the TV but LG as a company sucks. I wouldn’t buy it again.
If you genuinely want to change and find a therapist who can help you find the right resources to do it, it’s invaluable.

One of my motherboard’s memory slots went bad, no idea why. Figuring out if it was RAM or, if the motherboard, exactly what was wrong, was a tense few hours because neither is getting replaced.

100% right on for me. It took me years, YEARS, to get my mother to where she would check if USB peripherals were plugged in before asking me to come over and find out why it was broken. Even the occasional slight complications with Plex get her to where she doesn’t use it for months unless I fix it for her. Jellyfin just ain’t happening with her.
I started young with the Muppet Learning Keys and Discovery Disk. I loved the AD&D games: Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds, and Champions of Krynn. We didn’t have an NES, so there was… The Great Giana Sisters. Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar was great.
I might like CRPGs.
You too, eh? I could type before I could write! I loved our VIC 20 and C64.
Come with me on a journey of nostalgia! Do you remember any favorite programs?

I didn’t know about Kricfalusi. Damn.

See “sexual abuse allegations”.
It’s a typo but the intended group still fits! Love it.
