Except this image implies male V, who plays male V?Female voice acting is so much better, jackie seems more heart-of-gold when he’s straight with a platonic femme best friend and the johnny silverhand angle is much more emotionally resonant.
Me. I don’t think I’ve ever played as a chick if there’s an option in any game.
Specifically for 2077, I was playing as ‘me’ if timeframes were different. Also I played through the entire game as a naked (open jacket, tennis shoes) ‘me’. And you better fucking believe I was a thick uncut ‘me’. A better ‘me’. A ‘me’ with a thick heavy cock on display and carrying around an old-school minigun and sniper as my mains. Because it’s what I would have wanted.
I never see characters in games as “me”. I try to make someone hot or wacky. Often that’s a buff lady. Sometimes it’s “the biggest beard and hair I can get”.
I’m like that but for movies and TV shows - I can’t get invested. ‘what a dumbass, following the trail of blood unarmed into the abandoned shack, what an absolute moron. Yep, now he’s dead. This movie could be 15 minutes and the killer caught already.’
When I am the one making decisions, it’s always ‘me’. I have a role, and I apply my own judgements and planning. Instead of going through the front door on the shack, I find the crawlspace and kill the murderer by shooting through the floor, saving and meeting an easter-egg character in the process. But it’s always ‘me’, or as close as I can get to it.
I used to play about equal m/f characters but i’ve gotten increasingly bored with male characters.
I never play as me though, i’m always constructing a headcanon, backstory and playing very writerly.
Over the last 10+ years or so i’ve just found boy stories more and more boring. I think the last game i seriously enjoyed as male was ME2, coincidentally with a keanu looking sniper type.
I played male V on my second playthrough when the DLC came out, and regretted it immensely. Female V had way better voice acting. Finally got to romance Panam though.
I mean if a game is really good and i’m on my fifth+ playthrough and i have a really solid concept for a male character, maybe. And i did eventually play a male bodied female voiced V for the panam romance.
You’d think right? But femV has panam romance dialogue in the game that’s just locked off unless you’re male-bodied. I believe vice-versa is true for judy romance.
That tracks for me - the female VA gives a lot more emotion, there are some scenes that legit stress me out. Two violent guys vieing for control feela less tense than a guy slowly taking over a woman’s mind.

IMO, all the dick options in Cyberpunk were on the smaller side.
If that’s bigger and better than yours … well, that kind of says a lot, lol.
I thought the large was alright. I’ve had bigger irl but I’m right in the center of average. And cut so I hate how it looks…
Nah you fucked up my first play through is always female. It’s a video game not a biography
Honey, I wish
Who even plays the male when there’s an option?
Gay men? They’re real you know.

Does she have lines in the Panam romance path?I thought the reason why they put limits on the npc romances was to cut voice lines for the actors.

Damn, seems I have to do another play through.
I don’t want to be distracted by the booty
Played as both, prefer the guy. Somehow feels more relaxed to me
